Combining Camptosar with echinacea, live vaccines, or certain other drugs may cause negative interactions. Some of these adverse reactions may include kidney damage, breathing problems, and infections. To avoid complications, make sure you talk to your healthcare provider about any medications, vitamins, or supplements you are taking before starting treatment with Camptosar.

An Overview of Interactions With Camptosar

Camptosar® (irinotecan) can potentially interact with a number of other medications. The medications that can lead to interactions with Camptosar include but are not limited to:
 
  • Amphotericin B (Abelcet®, AmBisome®, Amphotec®)
