Colon Cancer Home > Tonalin CLA Supplement Information

A brand-name ingredient used in some dietary supplements, Tonalin® CLA contains conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which may be a "healthy fat." Why do people take Tonalin CLA? Primarily, it's because the supplement has shown promise for helping people to lose body fat and to prevent cancer. Although there is some early evidence suggesting that the CLA component may be effective, it is not clear if the supplements provide the same benefits.

Information about Tonalin CLA should be carefully reviewed before you begin taking it. For example, although it is a "natural" product, and most people tolerate it well, the supplement can cause side effects. Some of the possible reactions include heartburn, diarrhea, and nausea.
