Store Stivarga at room temperature, in its original bottle, with the lid tightly closed. Make sure your pharmacy dispenses Stivarga to you in the original bottle (not a pharmacy bottle). Do not remove the desiccant (the little packet) from the bottle, as it is there to absorb moisture and keep the medicine dry. Do not store Stivarga tablets in pill boxes (medi-sets) or bubble packs.
Stivarga tablets are good for 28 days after the bottle is opened. Throw out any unused tablets 28 days after opening the bottle.
Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children and pets.
What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?
If you miss your usual dose of Stivarga, take it as soon as you remember. If you do not remember until the next day, however, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take two doses of Stivarga in the same day to make up for a missed dose.
Stivarga tablets come in one strength: Stivarga 40 mg.
